What We Believe

  • We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, written without error in the original manuscripts, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

    2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Timothy 4:13, Romans 15:3

  • We believe in God, the Father, who is infinite and perfect in holiness, mercifully concerning Himself with the details of creation with all wisdom, power and love, showing compassion and patience to humanity. We believe that He is the Author of Creation and He Himself gives all people life, breath, and all things.

    Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 42:5, Acts 17:24-26, Colossians 1:16-17, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Psalm 103:13-19

  • We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth. Jesus Christ is the heir of all things and God’s final statement to humanity, demonstrating the exact representation of the Fathers nature and desire for creation.

    John 1:1-5; 1 John 2:2, 1 Corinthians 15:21-22, Hebrews 1:1-3, Hebrews 13:8, Romans 8:34, 1 John 5:20, Zechariah 14:4, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 22:12

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ to fulfill the mission of the Church. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every born again believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide, actively manifesting Himself through signs and wonders, and operating through supernatural gifts given to the Church.

    John 3:3-8, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, John 14:16, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20

  • We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption.

    Matt 3:16-17, Matt 28:19-20, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 4:4-6, 1 Peter 1:2

  • We believe that humanity was created in the image of God to know Him and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God that we were intended. As a result of our rejection of the commandments of God, sickness, death, and judgment entered into the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

    Genesis 1:31, 2:16-17,1 Corinthians 6:20, Romans 3:23, 4:15, 6:23, 7:5-6, 8:21, Corinthians 15:21,56-57, Eccl. 7:29

  • We believe that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ and anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repentance, believing, and receiving Jesus as Lord. We believe the gospel carries within it the saving power of Jesus Christ, which is not only able to save us from the penalty of our sin, but also deliver us from the power and effects of sin. The Gospel brings hope to the world promising that Jesus will make all things new, redeeming our bodies and reconciling the relationship between God and man for eternity.

    John 3:16-17, 1 Corinthians 6:20, 15:1-4, Acts 4:12, Isaiah 53:5-6, 1 Peter 2:24, Romans 1:16, 6:23, Ephesians 1:13-14, 2:8-9, Romans 5:9-11, 10:9-10, Titus 3:4-7, Revelation 21:4-5

  • We believe the Church is the body of Christ and believers are responsible for carrying the ministry of Jesus to the world. The commission given by the Lord Jesus to the Church has made us responsible for advancing the Kingdom of Heaven and promoting the Gospel of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

    Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 3:6, Ephesians 4:11-13, Romans 12:4-5

  • We believe the New Testament Church has entered a New Covenant with the Lord founded on better promises. This New Covenant is now the foundation of the relationship between God and the Church. The Church has moved out from under His wrath, having been satisfied through the death of Jesus on the cross, and has now entered into a New Covenant with the indwelling Holy Spirit of God.

    Jeremiah 31:31-34, Matthew 26:26-29, 2 Corinthians 3:2-8, Romans 7:1-6, Hebrews 8:6
